The Title Design of Saul Bass

To celebrate the release of the long-awaited book “Saul Bass: A Life in Film & Design”, editor Ian Albinson put together a brief visual history of some of Saul Bass‘s most celebrated work.

Again, for those of you who aren’t aware of Saul Bass (1920-1996) was not only one of the great graphic designers of the mid-20th century but the UNDISPUTED master of film title design thanks to his collaborations with the likes of such film legends as Alfred Hitchcock, Otto Preminger, and Martin Scorsese.
